Lynda Cunningham
Country life is the inspiration for Lynda's work, combining her love of rural living with her passion for art. The subjects of Lynda's oil paintings reflect the rapidly disappearing scenes of rural Ontario and its domestic farm animals. Through her art she recaptures days past, when horses were an integral part of farm life.
While her focus is predominantly oil paintings, Lynda also creates relief sculptures from clay and concrete. Recently, she has enjoyed portraying her children in pastels and watercolours. Today, this self taught artist lives with her husband and four children on their farm near Sunderland, Ontario. Together, they raise Clydesdale horses, sheep and cattle, many of whom are featured in her artwork.
